Welcome to My Space for Content, Strategy, and Inclusive Learning

This is where it all begins!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Keith, and I’m a content creator, educator, and researcher dedicated to exploring how digital tools and thoughtful strategy can make education more accessible and inclusive for everyone—regardless of background, experience, or location.

More than just a blog, it is a learning space

This blog is a space where I bring together the threads of my work in content creation, web design strategy, and postsecondary education. I wear a few hats: I am a full-time Professor in digital content creation, data analytics, and web strategy; I’m an active content producer myself (ranging from photography and podcasting to web development); and I’m currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Windsor. My research looks at how a student’s birth culture affects the way they interpret and interact with academic policies in Canada, particularly international students navigating a new system. These findings continue to reshape how I approach teaching, content design, and storytelling across platforms.

Design. Create. Communicate.

For me, content creation isn’t just about production—it’s about communication and connection. Whether it's building a WordPress site that meets AODA accessibility standards, crafting visual assets for social media, or editing audio for a narrative-driven podcast, each project is rooted in purpose. What are we trying to say? Who needs to hear it? And how can we make sure it reaches them in a way that resonates? I find that the same questions apply in education. I've spent my career helping students—especially those from underrepresented or international backgrounds—build the confidence and skills they need to thrive in creative and digital spaces. That’s why you’ll find this blog filled with posts that blend practical strategy with thoughtful reflection: tutorials on web navigation and SEO will sit alongside discussions about inclusive pedagogy and digital equity.

Accessibility means looking for possible barriers and obliterating them!

Accessibility is more than a checkbox—it’s a mindset. My goal with this blog is to provide resources, inspiration, and insight that educators, students, and content creators can use to create better systems, clearer strategies, and stronger connections. If you’re here because you’re looking to improve your teaching, refine your content strategy, or better understand the experience of international learners, you’re in the right place. As someone who has worked in both corporate and academic settings, I know that thoughtful digital strategy isn’t just a skill—it’s a superpower. When we align our content with clear goals and inclusive values, we create more meaningful outcomes for everyone involved.

Welcome aboard!

So, welcome aboard. I hope this blog serves as a helpful companion in your work, your learning, or your creative practice. Let’s build smarter, more inclusive content—together. I will also be sharing valuable information via podcast, audio, and instructional videos on my various platforms (be sure to go to keithjconnell.ca)!
